Stuart Brown was formally trained in illustration before 
joining a busy commercial design studio producing 
illustrations for a wide variety of brochures,
advertisements and exhibitions.

Working full-time with other traditionally skilled artists
and designers proved valuable experience.
A series of major clients, including agencies of the
UK MoD, provided a continuous flow of involved and
challenging projects over a period of some 15 years.

This work tied in well with a passion for military subjects 
and a series of commissioned oil paintings of military
and aviation subjects inevitably sparked a new direction
for his work. Today, limited edition prints of Stuart
Brown's work are collected worldwide with original
paintings in the collections of HM Forces.

With a continued passion for aviation, Stuart is a
keen competition skydiver with over 1000 jumps.
